Can you imagine a life without cheese? You want to eat a more plant-based diet but living without cheese sounds tough. With vegan cheese you don’t have to. Vegan cheese is delicious, tasty and cruelty-free. Whether you want to go vegan or just scale back on dairy, vegan cheese offers a tasty alternative.
Vegan cheeses, one hundred percent animal-free are made from a variety of plant foods, including nuts, seeds and vegetables. The available varieties of vegan cheeses is expanding and they come in almost as many styles and flavours as dairy cheese.
Typically nuts and seeds are soaked, blended and fermented using the same types of bacteria used to make dairy cheeses. Other ingredients may be added for flavor. Hence the wide range of vegan cheeses available. Pay attention to the ingredients list for vegan cheese you may purchase. Vegan cheeses are not all one hundred percent clean.
